Սուրբ Աստուածածին Եկեղեցիէն պատուիրակութիւն մը մասնակցեցաւ պատգամաւոր Ճոնաթըն Ցաոյի գրասենեակի բացման հանդիսութեան։ Եկեղեցին ներկայացուց Հոգաբարձութեան ատենադպիր՝ Սարգիս Սրկ. Կիտանեան, որուն միացան նաեւ Թորոնթոհայ համայնքի անդամներ։
Բացման հանդիսութեան ներկայ էր նաեւ Եկեղեցւոյս երեսփոխան՝ Տիար Յարութ Մաթոսեան, որուն ներկայութիւնը ընդգծեց հայ համայնքի քաղաքական ներգրաւուածութեան եւ գործոն մասնակցութեան կարեւորութիւնը։
Սարգիս Սարկաւագ փոխանցեց Սուրբ Աստուածածին Եկեղեցւոյ Հոգեւոր Տեսուչ՝ Գերպ. Տ. Գարեգին Ծ. Վրդ. Շխրտմեանի եւ Հոգեւոր Հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Տաթեւ Աւ. Քհնյ. Միքայէլեանի օրհնութիւններն ու շնորհաւորանքները պատգամաւոր Ճոնաթըն Ցաոյին՝ իր ընտրութեան եւ գրասենեակի բացման առիթով։ Ան իր խօսքին մէջ ըսաւ. «Եկեղեցւոյ եւ հաւատացեալ ժողովուրդին անունով կը շնորհաւորենք Ձեզ եւ կը յուսանք, որ միասնաբար կը կարողանանք գործակցիլ համայնքային առաջնահերթութիւններու շուրջ՝ ի բարօրութիւն մեր շրջանի բնակիչներուն»։
Իր կարգին, պատգամաւոր Ճոնաթըն Ցաո շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներուն՝ իրենց մասնակցութեան եւ բարեմաղթանքներուն համար։ Ան ընդգծեց իր պատրաստակամութիւնը շարունակելու համագործակցութիւնը եւ իր շրջանի բոլոր համայնքներու ձայները լսելի դարձնելու Օնթարիոյի Օրէնսդիր Ժողովին մէջ:
St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church Congratulates MPP Johnathan Tsao at Official Opening of Don Valley North Constituency Office
A delegation from St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church attended the official opening of the constituency office of newly elected Member of Provincial Parliament Johnathan Tsao for Don Valley North. The Church was represented in person by Deacon Sarkis Kidanian, Secretary of the Board of Trustees, joined by members of the local Armenian community.
Also present was Mr. Harout Matossian, representing the Canadian Armenian National Representatives Assembly (CANRA), underscoring the strong engagement of Armenian civic leadership.
Although unable to attend in person, Right Reverend Fr. Karekin Shkherdemian, Dean of the St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church and Archpriest Rev. Fr. Datev Mikaelian, Parish Priest of St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, extended their blessings and congratulations to MPP Tsao on his recent election.
“On behalf of St. Mary Armenian Church and our Armenian faithful in Don Valley North, we congratulate MPP Tsao and look forward to working collaboratively on community priorities,” said Deacon Sarkis Kidanian.
MPP Tsao thanked the Armenian delegation for their presence and expressed his enthusiasm for continued collaboration to ensure the voices of all communities in Don Valley North are heard and represented at Queen’s Park.
