A Call to the Youth
As December unfolds and we prepare to welcome the birth of our Savior; a pivotal call goes out to all of us as youth. Within the Armenian community, we are often viewed as the “future.” Yet, in reality, you and I are its vibrant present. The energy and spirit that we bring are essential to the life of the Church, especially during this holy season of anticipation and joy.
The message of Christmas is one of “good tidings of great joy”, and who better to deliver that message than the youth of the community. This month offers a unique opportunity to step out of the pews and into active service. Whether volunteering at food banks, visiting the elderly in retirement homes, giving to the needy, or lending a strong voice to a Christmas sing-a-long, our actions matter. Through these deeds, we spread the true glad tidings: a message of peace and joy that “Christ is Born and Revealed”.
Therefore, we as youth, have the unique power to bridge the gap between our cherished heritage and the modern world. By showing up, serving, caring, and participating, we ensure that the Prince of Peace is celebrated with renewed faith and hope for the New Year. This Christmas, let the Church be our home, and let our presence be the gift we give to our community.

ՀՐԱՒԷՐ՝ ԵՐԻՏԱՍԱՐԴՈՒԹԵԱՆ
Երբ կը մտնենք դեկտեմբեր ամիսը եւ կը պատրաստուինք ընդունիլ մեր Փրկիչին Սուրբ Ծնունդը, կարեւոր հրաւէր մը կը տրուի մեզի՝ որպէս երիտասարդներ։
Հայ համայնքին մէջ մենք կը դիտուինք որպէս «ապագայ» սերունդ։ Սակայն իրականութեան մէջ, դուն եւ ես անոր ներկան ենք։ Մեր բերած ոգին կարեւոր դեր ունի Եկեղեցւոյ կեանքէն ներս, մանաւանդ ուրախութեամբ լեցուն այս ամիսին ատեն։
Սուրբ Ծննդեան նամակը մեզի «ուրախութեան մեծ աւետիս մըն է», եւ ո՞վ կրնայ աւելի լաւ կերպով այդ լուրը փոխանցել, եթե ոչ համայնքի երիտասարդները։ Այս տարուան վերջին ամիսը կը հրաւիրէ մեզ ելլելու Եկեղեցիին նստարաններէն եւ ծառայել մեր համայնքին։
Այդ մէկը կրնայ կամաւոր ըլլալ՝ «սնունդի բաշխման կեդրոն»ներու (food bank) մէջ, կամ այցելել երէցներուն եւ կամ մեծ հայրերուն ու մեծ մայրերուն որպէս մխիթարանք, կամ հասնիլ կարիքաւորներուն, կամ մեր ձայնով Ծննդեան երգեցողութիւններուն մասնակցիլ․ մեր քայլերը եւ գործերը նշանակութիւն ունին։ Այս բարի գործերը ընելով մենք կը տարածենք իսկական ուրախ աւետիսը՝ թէ «Քրիստոս ծնաւ եւ յայտնեցաւ»։
Հետեւաբար, մենք՝ որպէս երիտասարդներ այն կարողութիւնը ունինք որ կրնանք կապել մեր աւանդութիւնները ներկայ աշխարհին հետ: Մեր ներկայութեամբ, ծառայութեամբ, հոգատարութեամբ եւ մասնակցութեամբ ցոյց կու տանք, որ Խաղաղութեան Իշխան Քրիստոսը կ’ողջունուի նորոգուած հաւատքով եւ յոյսով՝ եկող Նոր Տարուան ընթացքին։ Այս Սուրբ Ծննդեան Տօնին առիթով, թող Եկեղեցին ըլլայ մեր տունը, եւ մեր ներկայութիւնը ըլլայ մեր այն քաղցր նուէրը որ կը նուիրենք մեր համայնքին։
