Երեքշաբթի, 6 Յունուար 2026-ին, Սուրբ եւ Անմահ Պատարագէն ետք, նախագահութեամբ Թեմիս Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Բաբգէն Ս. Արք. Չարեանի եւ կազմակերպութեամբ՝ Թորոնթոյի Սուրբ Աստուածածին Եկեղեցւոյ, Հայ Կեդրոնէն ներս տեղի ունեցաւ Սուրբ Ծննդեան ճաշկերոյթը։
Ձեռնարկը սկիզբ առաւ աւանդական տնօրհնէքի արարողութեամբ․ օրհնուեցան հացը, աղը եւ ջուրը, եւ բաժնուեցան ներկաներուն։
Բացման եւ բարի գալուստի խօսքով հանդէս եկաւ եկեղեցւոյ Ատենապետ՝ Տիար Կարօ Սրկ. Սարգիսեան, որ շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց ներկաներուն իրենց ներկայութեան եւ եկեղեցական կեանքին նկատմամբ ցուցաբերած նուիրումին համար։
Ձեռնարկի ընթացքին Հոգաբարձութեան անդամ Տիար Սարգիս Սրկ. Կիտանեան ներկայացուց այս տարուան եկեղեցւոյ հանգանակութեան ձեռնարկները՝ ի նպաստ Սուրբ Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ շէնքի նորոգութեան եւ անհրաժեշտ բարենորոգումներուն։
Ապա, Սրբազան Հօր ձեռամբ յանձնուեցան հետեւեալ հինգ կրթաթոշակները.
Սուրբ Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ կրթաթոշակ՝ Վարագ Մեսրոպեանի։
Սուրբ Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ «Բուչիկեան» կրթաթոշակ՝ Անուշ Արթունեանի։
Սուրբ Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ «Մեղրիկ Բարիքեան» կրթաթոշակ՝ Արմէն Պետրոսեանի։
Ազնաւորեան դպրաց դասի կրթաթոշակ՝ Փաթիլ Սիմոնեանի եւ Մարի Լիլիթ Նաճարեանի։
Գեղարուեստական յայտագրով ճաշկերոյթը ջերմ մթնոլորտով ճոխացուց երգիչ Լեւոն Գարակիւլեան, իսկ երգեհոնին վրայ նուագակցեց Արթուր Թամազեան։
CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON AT SAINT MARY TORONTO
On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, following the Divine Liturgy, through the organization of St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church the Christmas luncheon took place at the Armenian Community Centre Hall, under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Papken Tcharian Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada.
The event began with the traditional Blessing of the Home service, during which bread, salt, and water were blessed and distributed to those in attendance.
Opening remarks were delivered by the Chairman of the Church Board of Trustees, Deacon Garo Sarkissian, who expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their presence and for their dedication to the life and well-being of the Church.
During the program, a member of the Board of Trustees, Deacon Sarkis Kidanian presented this year’s church fundraising initiatives in support of the renovation process of St. Mary’s Church and its necessary improvements.
Thereafter, five scholarships were awarded by the hand of the Prelate. These are the names of the Scholarship-Awards and the recipient’s names.

The banquet was further enriched with a warm and festive artistic program by singer Levon Karagulian, accompanied on the organ by Arthur Tamazian.
