Չորեքշաբթի, 4 Մարտ 2026-ի երեկոյեան ժամը 7:30-ին, Հսկումի արարողութեան նախագահեց Գանատայի Հայոց Թեմի Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Բաբգէն Արք. Չարեան։
Յաւարտ արարողութեան, մեկնելով Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիոյ Ն. Ս. Օ. Տ. Տ. Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսի «ՀՈԳԵՒՈՐ ԿԵԱՆՔԻ ՎԵՐԱՆՈՐՈԳՄԱՆ ՏԱՐԻ» հռչակագիրէն, Եկեղեցւոյ Քրիստոնէական Դաստիարակութեան յանձնախումբին կազմակերպութեամբ, Հոգշ. Տ. Յակոբ Վրդ. Եագուպեան, ներկայացուց Վեհափառ Հայրապետի «In Search of Self- Understanding» գիրքը, որ լոյս տեսած է 2025 թուականին, Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիոյ Կաթողիկոսութեան տպարանէն։
Հոգշ. Հայր Սուրբը ներկայացուց Վեհափառ Հայրապետի գիրքին հիմնական գաղափարները յայտնելով, թէ Վեհափառ Հայրապետին այս հեղինակութիւնը ծնունդ առած է ի պատասխան այսօրուան մարդուն ապրած տագնապներուն։ Ան բացատրեց, թէ գիրքը կեդրոնացած է այն հիմնական հարցումին վրայ, թէ «Ո՞վ է մարդ արարածը» եւ «Ի՞նչ կը նշանակէ մարդ ըլլալ», մանաւանդ այսօր, երբ պատերազմները, համաճարակներն ու համաշխարհային ցնցումները մարդուն ինքնութիւնը հարցականի տակ կը դնեն։
Աւարտին, Քրիստոնէական Դաստիարակութեան Յանձնախումբի անդամները, գիրքէն մէկական օրինակ յանձնեցին ներկաներուն։ Առցանց հետեւող հաւատացեալները կրնան իրենց օրինակը ստանալ կապուելովեկեղեցւոյ գրասենեակ։

Presentation of His Holiness Aram I’s Book “In Search of Self-Understanding”
at St. Mary Armenian Church of Toronto
On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the Vigil Service was presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Papken Tcharian, the Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada.
At the conclusion of the service, drawing from His Holiness Aram I’s Pontifical Proclamation of the year 2026 “Year of Spiritual Renewal” the Christian Education Committee (CEC) organized a presentation of His Holiness’s book “In Search of Self-Understanding”.
The book, published in 2025 by the Printing House of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, was presented by Rev. Fr. Hagop Yacoubian.
Rev. Fr. Yacoubian introduced the central themes of His Holiness’s work, noting that this publication emerged in response to the crises faced by contemporary humanity. He explained that the book addresses the fundamental questions: “Who is the human person?” and “What does it mean to be human?” especially in our current time, when wars, pandemics, and global upheavals call human identity into question.
At the end of the presentation, members of the Christian Education Committee distributed copies of the book to those in attendance. Faithful who followed the event online are kindly invited to contact the Church office at 416-493-8122 to obtain a copy.
