Ինչպէ՞ս կրնանք Social Media-ն  օգտագործել՝

Հայ Երիտասարդները ազգին ու եկեղեցիին մօտեցնելու

Ներկայ աշխարհին մէջ, Social Media-ն շատ մեծ դերակատարութիւն եւ ազդեցութիւն ունի մեր կեանքին մէջ:  Social Media-ի միջոցով, մենք կրնանք մեր երիտասարդները աւելի մօտեցնել մեր ազգին, հայրենիքին ու եկեղեցիին:

Եթէ երէկ օրաթերթերն ու հեռատեսիլն էին Social Media-ի միջոցները, անոնք այսօր երիտասարդին համար փոխուած են: Social Media-ի այսօրուան միջոցներն են՝ instagram-ը, facebook-ը, YouTube-ը, Tik Tok-ը, Reels-երը, եւյլն:

Ինչպէ՞ս օգտագործել Social Media-ն:

Առաջին, Social Media-ն կ’օգնէ, որ հայ երիտասարդը սորվի մեր ազգին, հայրենիքին ու եկեղեցիին մասին։ Video-ներ կան եւ շատ աւելին պէտք է ստեղծուի, որպէսզի հաճելի ըլլայ մեր երիտասարդներուն, որ դիտեն եւ սորվին անոնցմէ: Video-ներ պէտք է պատրաստել, ուր ցոյց կուտան Աստուածաշունչի կարեւոր դրուագներու կամ առակներու մասին եւ կը սորվեցնէ Յիսուսի Քրիստոսի պատուիրաններու եւ ուսուցումներուն մասին, որպէսզի, որպէս քրիստոնեաներ աւելի լաւ հասկնանք մեր հաւատքին, եկեղեցւոյ ծէսերուն, պատմութեան եւ կարեւոր ուսուցումներուն մասին, որպէսզի երիտասարդններու առօրեայ կեանքերը բարելաւուին ու իրենց հաւատքը զօրացնեն: Նոյնպէս ալ, պէտք է video-ներ շինել, որոնք կը խօսին եւ կը սորվեցնեն Հայ ազգին ու Հայրենիքի կարեւոր դէպքերուն, անցեալին, ներկային, պատերազմներու, հռչակաւոր մարդոց եւ մանաւանդ եկեղեցւոյ պատմութեան մասին: Ասոնք պէտք է որ պատրաստուին արդիական եւ ճոխ բովանդակութեամբ, որ երիտասարդներու ուշադրութիւնը գրաւեն:

Երկրորդ, Social Media-ն երիտասարդներու համար շատ կարեւոր է, որ գիտնան ի՞նչ կը կատարուի, ըլլայ ելոյթ, ձեռնարկ, հաւաք կամ տօն: Եկեղեցին, օրինակ, տարուան ընթացքին ունի շատ կարեւոր տօներ եւ ձեռնարկներ, ուր երիտասարդներ կրնան ներկայ գտնուիլ կամ հետեւիլ՝ առցանց: Որպէզի երիտասարդներ սկսին գալ այս հաւաքներուն եւ տօներուն, պէտք է  հետաքրքրական post-եր ստեղծել, որ գիտնան, գան, տեսնեն ու հաճելի, զուարթ պահեր ապրին։ Մեր եկեղեցին ունի երիտասարդական Աստուածաշունչի հաւաքներ եւ այս հաւաքներուն կը սորվինք Աստուծոյ մասին։ Իսկ վերջը հաճելի գործունէութիւն մը կը կատարուի որ երիտասարդներու համար հաճելի ձեւով կ’անցնի։ Նոյն ձեւով պէտք է նայիլ եկեղեցւոյ տօներուն, ըլլայ Ս. Զատիկ, Ս. Ծնունդ կամ Ս. Աստուածածին, պէտք է որ այս տօներու համար ոչ միայն եկեղեցիի արարողութիւն եւ Պատարագ ընել, այլ ճաշկերոյթներ, համերգներ եւ այլն:

Երրորդ, մեր եկեղեցին ունի բազմաթիւ շարականներ, որոնք պատարագներուն եւ ժամերգութիւններուն մէջ կ՚ երգուին, կան շարականներ, որոնք շատ գեղեցիկ կը հնչեն, բայց շատ դժուար է սորվիլ։ Ասոր համար կարելի է social media-ի էջ մը շինել, որ հաճելի եւ ախորժելի ձեւով գրաւէ երիտասարդներուն ուշադրութիւնը որպէսզի սորվին։ Նաեւ, յանձնախումբ մը կազմել, որ շաբաթը 1-2 անգամ կարելի ըլլայ շարականները սորվիլ։ Նոյնը նաեւ հայրենասիրական եւ ժողովրդային երգեր երգելով եւ սորվելով։

The Role of Social Media in Youth Development and the Church

In today’s digital world, social media shapes the minds, hearts, and relationships of our youth more than ever before. Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and YouTube are not just places of entertainment — they are classrooms, “safe spaces”, and communities where young people search for meaning, belonging, and identity.

Used wisely, social media can become a beautiful tool for connection, creativity, and faith-sharing. Through it, young people can express their God-given talents, discover inspiring stories, and even encounter the Gospel in new and engaging ways. The Church, too, can meet them there — not to compete for attention, but to offer guidance, values, and hope. A short post, a reflection, or a heartfelt message of compassion can reach hearts far beyond our church walls.

Yet, alongside these blessings come real challenges. The pressure to gain likes and followers can erode self-worth; misinformation and harmful trends can distort truth; and endless scrolling can replace prayer, study, or face-to-face friendship. Social media can easily become a mirror of insecurity instead of a window toward grace.

The Church’s mission is therefore twofold: to form our youth spiritually so that they use media with discernment, and to transform the digital space into one of truth and light. Parents and mentors can play a vital role by setting healthy boundaries, fostering open conversations, and encouraging “digital fasting” — moments of silence and rest that restore balance.

Let us remind our young people that technology is not the enemy; it is the instrument. What matters is the heart behind the screen — a heart that seeks love, peace, and God. When faith guides our digital choices, even a simple post can become a prayer, and every message a seed of hope.

For Armenian youth in particular, social media carries an even deeper purpose. At a time when our nation faces existential challenges — spread across the world, striving to preserve our heritage, language, culture, and national identity, the silencing of our culture, and the rewriting of our history — the digital world becomes a frontline of identity. Every post in Armenian, every shared prayer, every artistic expression rooted in our faith and heritage strengthens our collective memory. Through social media, young Armenians can tell our own story — of survival, creativity, and faith — to the world, in our own voice.It is our calling, therefore, to make the digital space not only a platform of self-expression but a living testament to our nation’s spirit. When Armenian youth unite online to defend truth, celebrate culture, and lift each other in solidarity, they continue the sacred mission of their ancestors — to keep our faith and nation alive. Guided by the Church, inspired by love for God and homeland, our youth can turn the glowing screens of today into beacons of hope for tomorrow.
