MINISTER GRAHAM MCGREGOR AND PARLIAMENTARY ASSISTANT ARIS BABIKIAN VISIT ST. MARY ARMENIAN CHURCH

On Sunday, January 11, 2026, St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church attended the New Year’s reception organized by the Armenian National Committee of Toronto, held at the Armenian Centre. The gathering was attended by various political guests, as well as representatives of government and community organizations.

St. Mary’s was represented by the Chair of the Church Board, Deacon Garo Sarkissian.

During the event, the Honourable Graham McGregor (@bramptongraham), Ontario’s Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism, and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism, MPP Aris Babikian (@arisbabikian) visited St. Mary Armenian Church. After learning about the Church’s mission and community activities, they presented the Chair of the Church Board with a scroll from the Minister.

Եկեղեցին մասնակցեցաւ Թորոնթոյի Հայ Դատի Յանձնախումբին կողմէ կազմակերպուած նոր տարուան ընդունելութեան, որ տեղի ունեցաւ Հայ Կեդրոնէն ներս։ Հաւաքին ներկայ էին զանազան քաղաքական հիւրեր եւ պետական ու համայնքային մարմիններու ներկայացուցիչներ։

Սուրբ Աստուածածին եկեղեցին ներկայացուց եկեղեցւոյ ատենապետ՝ Բրշ. Կարօ Սրկ. Սարգիսեան։

Հաւաքի ընթացքին, Օնթարիոյի Քաղաքացիութեան եւ Բազմամշակութայնութեան Պատուարժան Նախարար Կրահամ Մքկրէկոր եւ Երեսփոխան Արիս Պապիկեան այցելեցին Սուրբ Աստուածածին եկեղեցի։ Ծանօթանալէ ետք եկեղեցւոյ առաքելութեան եւ համայնքային գործունէութեան, անոնք եկեղեցւոյ ատենապետին յանձնեցին նախարարութեան կողմէ ուղարկուած գիրը։ ...
